A Family to Belong to
The church isn’t a building you go to, or just a Sunday morning meeting, instead, it’s a spiritual family that you belong to in Christ. Here you can discover some of the ways Oranmore Community Church gathers as a spiritual family for worship together and as community groups and other ministries.
Worship Gatherings
Our church gathers weekly together to worship Jesus through song and prayer, to hear from God’s word and to fellowship with one another. We gather every Sunday morning at 10:30 am. No matter where you are at in your faith, we would love to have you join us! You can learn more about what our gatherings are like by clicking ‘Plan A Visit’.
Community Groups
At Oranmore Community Church, community groups are an integral way our church aims to walk out our faith and the mission Jesus gave us to make disciples together. We want our groups to be a place where you can be fully known, and encourage one another to know Jesus and make him known in our community. Groups tend to meet at least once every other week for a family meal together. As our church grows, we want to see our groups scattered across Oranmore and the Surrounds. Please connect with us if you are interested in hearing more or checking out a community group.
Men and Women
Our community groups prioritise what we call DNA groups. It’s a chance for the men to connect with the other men, and the women to connect with the other women. The aim is to Discover God’s Word together, Nurture each other through encouragement in the gospel, and help one another Act on what God is revealing through His Word.
Kids
Our vision for the Kids of Oranmore Community Church is to create a safe environment where children can learn about who Jesus is, how to be with Jesus, and how to live their lives in honour of Him. We also want to equip the parents to disciple their children along with us. All of our volunteers are Garda vetted and trained in child protection procedures. During our gatherings, “children’s church” is provided during the teaching time for ages 5-12.
